Werkstraat 51, 9000 Gent

My tiny studio is located on the border of the medieval city Gent. In this specific neighborhood, the parking spaces are free.

If you walk 5 minutes you can find an extravagant bakery + a national supermarket.

Lots of my clients are international and prefer to book a hotel or Airbnb nearby.

You can easily reach my studio with public transportation. Some clients prefer Uber or taxi over public transportation, while others prefer the other way around.

I explain public transportation below.

Public transportation

The national public bus & tram company is called ‘De Lijn’. The national public train company is called ‘NMBS’. Their websites offer online tickets and are available in multiple languages.

The largest train station in Gent is called ‘Gent Sint Pieters’. Right in front of the main entrance of the station, you will see the bus station. 20 minutes on the bus takes you to the bus stop near my shop: ‘Fluweelstraat’. A 5 minute walk takes you to my studio.

Below, I explain how to get to this station from the national airport.

Airport

The national airport of Belgium is called Brussels Airport, in Zaventem (Brussels). The airport has its own train station which takes you directly to the train station of Gent (Gent Sint Pieters) in 50 minutes. You can purchase train tickets on the website of NMBS (the national train company).

Of course, if you don’t feel like public transportation, taxis and Ubers are always available.
